Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the marketplace.

• Account data — name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Order data — delivery addresses, order contents, order status, and invoices.
• Payment data — handled by Razorpay. We receive a payment ID and a success/failure signature. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or netbanking credentials.
• Usage data — pages viewed, searches, device type, browser, and IP address, used to keep the service secure and to improve it.
• Vendor data — business name, GSTIN, bank/settlement details, and product listings, for sellers who register.
• Support data — the messages, photos, and order references you send us.

2. Why we use it

• To create your account, authenticate you, and keep you signed in.
• To process, ship, track, and invoice your orders, and to handle returns and refunds.
• To let the relevant seller fulfil your order (they receive only what is needed to ship it).
• To detect and prevent fraud, payment abuse, and platform misuse.
• To send transactional messages — order confirmations, dispatch and delivery updates.
• To send offers and marketing only if you have opted in; you can opt out at any time.
• To comply with Indian tax, accounting, and legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties who need it to deliver the service:

• Sellers/vendors — your name, delivery address, and phone number, strictly to fulfil your order.
• Payment gateway (Razorpay) — to process payments and refunds securely.
• Logistics partners — to deliver and pick up parcels.
• Service providers — hosting, email, SMS, and analytics providers acting on our instructions.
• Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep you logged in and hold your cart — the site cannot work without them. Analytics cookies help us understand which pages and crafts people use, in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the site (login, cart, checkout) will then stop working.

5. How we protect your data

Traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes. Payment signatures are verified server-side before an order is recorded as paid, so a payment cannot be faked from the browser. Access to production data is restricted to the staff who need it.

No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your personal data we will notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay.

6. How long we keep it

Account and order records are retained for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires (generally up to 8 years for financial records). Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw consent. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate — most of it is editable in Account → Profile and Addresses.
• Ask us to delete your account and personal data, subject to records we must legally retain.
• Withdraw consent to marketing, and unsubscribe from promotional email.
• Ask for a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Children

Timely is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-party links

Our pages may link to external sites (for example a payment page or a seller's social profile). We are not responsible for their privacy practices — please read their policies before sharing data with them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its “last updated” date. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email.

11. Contact & grievance officer

For any privacy question, data request, or complaint, write to support@timely-new.ttsit.in with the subject “Privacy”. We acknowledge every request within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days, as required under Indian law.
