1. What Timely is

Timely is an online marketplace that connects independent artisans, weavers, workshops, and regional sellers across India with buyers. Unless a listing explicitly says otherwise, Timely is the platform and the seller is the merchant of record: the contract of sale for each product is formed directly between you and that seller. We provide the storefront, payments, logistics coordination, and dispute support.

2. Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law to buy or sell on Timely.

• You must give accurate, current information when registering.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password confidential.
• One person or business may not operate multiple accounts to abuse offers or reviews.
• Tell us immediately at support@timely-new.ttsit.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

3. Products, pricing & availability

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Product photographs are indicative; handmade goods vary in colour, weave, and finish. We and our sellers try to keep listings accurate, but errors in price, description, or stock can occur.

Where an obvious pricing or listing error is discovered, we may cancel the affected order before dispatch and refund you in full. Nothing on the platform is an offer to sell — your order is an offer to buy, which is accepted only when the order is confirmed and dispatched.

4. Orders & payment

Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or netbanking credentials on our servers.

• You must be logged in to place an order.
• An order is confirmed only after the payment gateway returns a verified success response, or, for Cash on Delivery, after our confirmation.
• We may cancel or hold any order we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent, abusive, or in breach of these Terms.

5. Shipping & delivery

Delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on the seller's location, the craft, and the courier. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide. Please make sure the delivery address and phone number are correct — we are not liable for parcels lost due to an incorrect address.

6. Returns, refunds & cancellations

Returns, refunds, replacements, and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Rules for sellers & vendors

If you register as a vendor, you additionally agree that:

• You will list only products you are legally entitled to sell, and describe them truthfully — including origin, materials, GI status, and handmade claims.
• You will hold valid GSTIN and other statutory registrations where required, and issue proper invoices.
• You will dispatch confirmed orders within the timeline shown on your listing.
• Timely deducts its commission and applicable fees before settling payouts to you.
• Counterfeit goods, false GI or heritage claims, and misleading pricing lead to immediate delisting and may lead to permanent removal from the platform.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or overload our systems, or attempt to bypass security or authentication.
• Post reviews or content that is false, defamatory, obscene, or that you were paid to write.
• Resell, frame, or commercially exploit any part of the platform without our written permission.

9. Reviews & user content

You keep ownership of the reviews, photos, and content you post, but you grant Timely a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce, and adapt it for operating and promoting the marketplace. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

10. Intellectual property

The Timely name, logo, design, code, and curated content are owned by us or our licensors and may not be used without written permission. Product imagery and brand names belong to the respective sellers or rights holders.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timely is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, data, or goodwill. For any claim arising out of an order, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, engages in fraud or payment abuse, or exposes Timely, its sellers, or its buyers to legal risk. You may close your account at any time; obligations relating to orders already placed survive closure.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when published on this page, and the “last updated” date will change. Continuing to use Timely after that means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. We ask that you contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly by our support team.
